Creative Intelligence Studio
The algorithm isn't your audience.
We study people for a living.
Turns out that's rarer than it sounds.
The rooms we sat in before we built our own.
We are SMIK
We notice what people actually respond to, never mind what's trending this week. We build brands people choose, not just brands people see.
Capabilities
We are deeply interested in
human behaviour.
People decide when something means something to them, and that drives all three.

AI catches what tired eyes miss. We catch what AI can't.
Our philosophy
SMIK is built on two
foundational principles.
Smart=
We understand people before we make anything for them.
Slick=
Fast, because the thinking's already done.

are proud of.

Things we've learned
People can smell bullshit.
The word “queue” is just one letter with four silent supporters.
Sometimes you need to act like a fool infront of a fool who thinks you are a fool.
More content isn't a strategy.
"Make it pop" is not feedback and AI won't save a bad idea. Understanding your audience would.
The allergy list
Things we're mildly allergic to.
- Buzzwords
- Fake urgency
- Trend-chasing
- Vanity metrics
- LinkedIn prophets
- Meetings about meetings
- Know it all mindset

The studio
What is SMIK?
SMIK - Creative Intelligence Studio LLP builds brands for founders who'd rather compound than sprint. Strategy, design, content and AI, one team, one throughline, instead of four vendors arguing in a group chat. Based out of Delhi, working with D2C and B2B brands across India and abroad.
Is SMIK a marketing studio or a strategic consulting partner?
Depends what's broken. Most agencies sell campaigns first, because campaigns are what gets billed. SMIK starts with the actual problem instead, what's capping the brand, then decides if the fix is strategy, design, content, or all three. Retainers follow that diagnosis. They never replace it.
What does "brands that compound over time" actually mean?
Turn off your paid ad spend for a week and look at what's left. Brand recognition, repeat customers, the content people already search for - that's what compounds. Most agency output vanishes the moment the ad budget does. SMIK builds the part that doesn't.
What actually keeps working after a campaign ends?
Positioning, design systems, and content that still earns attention months later. It takes the same patience as therapy: you keep correcting the moves until you don't need someone else in the room to make them. Slower than a campaign burst. Harder to undo.
How we work
Does SMIK just advise, or does the team execute the work too?
All of it, hands-on. Nobody here hands you a deck and walks away, the same team that sets the positioning builds the design system, writes the content, and ships the campaign. Want strategy without execution? That's 100 Lumens, our growth advisory arm (more on that, soon).
What does an engagement with SMIK look like, start to finish?
It starts with a working session on where the brand's actually stuck. No pitch deck. From there, we scope exactly what's needed, a strategy sprint, a full brand system, or an ongoing retainer, based on the diagnosis. Already know your problem cold? We skip straight to scoping it.
Does SMIK work on retainer or per project?
The problem decides. A positioning gap or a single launch runs as project work; ongoing brand-building and content runs as a retainer. Either way, scope gets set after the diagnosis, never before it.
What's the relationship between SMIK and 100 Lumens?
100 Lumens is SMIK's growth advisory arm. SMIK builds the brand. 100 Lumens shows the direction. Full story's landing soon, we're making sure it's as sharp as this page before it goes live.
Fit
Who does SMIK actually work with?
Founder-led brands, mostly D2C, sometimes B2B. If you already think in CAC and conversion rate and you're tired of a marketing partner who doesn't, you've found one that does.
Who should look elsewhere?
Brands that want a vendor to execute a brief with zero strategic input. Brands chasing the cheapest retainer on the table. Founders who expect their partner to be available at any scope, any hour, indefinitely. SMIK has walked away from retainers before when the ask stopped being realistic or the collaboration stopped moving. Call it a filter. Nothing personal.
People & proof
Who's behind SMIK?
Ishmeet and Samarth co-founded SMIK. Samarth spent 13 years in advertising and brand strategy, including time at Ogilvy leading campaigns for brands like BMW, Nestlé and Amazon Prime Video, before moving into leadership roles of his own. Ishmeet leads brand, culture and communication, sharpened over 11 years across brands like Samsung and Bacardi.
Does SMIK have case studies or published results?
Some, and growing. Real numbers from live engagements are already up on the work showcase, and the list keeps expanding as SMIK takes on more work.
